Freddy’s extensive field experience includes senior HSE and operational roles with Saudi Aramco, SINOPEC, SNEPCO, and SPDC, as well as third-party consulting engagements for Shell. At Aramco, he advised on HSE performance and contractor operations within their gas drilling division—one of the largest globally. At SINOPEC, he managed drilling safety operations across multiple sites, while at SNEPCO he played a key supervisory role in deepwater drilling HSE. His nearly decade-long tenure with SPDC included principal technical HSE engineering responsibilities across a variety of upstream assets.
As a Shell-aligned consultant, Freddy further strengthened his credentials in delivering compliance-driven, contractor-focused safety systems and operational oversight within global E\&P frameworks.
A seasoned project manager and trusted HSE strategist, Freddy has led multi-rig campaigns, well abandonment and restoration operations, and contractor performance audits. His strengths also include technical bid evaluations, contractor capability reviews, and risk management systems—all vital to maintaining operational excellence in high-risk environments.
He holds a degree in Mechanical and Production Engineering and carries both NEBOSH and IOSH certifications in occupational health and safety. Freddy is known for his grounded leadership, commitment to operational discipline, and deep understanding of field realities. At Mesa Energy, he plays a key role in ensuring that our execution on the ground meets the highest standards of safety, quality, and excellent delivery.

His consulting career spans work with multinational firms and high-growth companies, where he has led projects at the intersection of technology, infrastructure, and business transformation. He is also an active player in the venture capital space, supporting founders and early-stage ventures focused on solving real-world problems through scalable technology. At Mesa Energy, Mr. Osakwe bridges strategic vision with operational execution, helping the company navigate complex markets, mobilize resources, and pursue transformative oil and gas projects with discipline and foresight.
Dr. Chukwueloka O. Umeh

Dr. Umeh began his career at General Electric in the United States, where he spent over a decade in R&D, engineering, and leadership roles. His work at GE Aviation and GE’s Global Research Center included advanced technology development for both commercial and military jet engines, and collaboration with NASA on cutting-edge sensor systems. He holds six U.S. patents and over a dozen technical publications in high-efficiency, low-emission gas turbine technology. He is a member of the Anambra State Governor’s Power Committee and served as a power expert on the Abia State Transition Council. Dr. Umeh holds a PhD and MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (NY), a BSc in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (FL), and a BEng in Electronics Engineering from the University of Nigeria. He is also an alumnus of GE’s Edison Engineering Development Program (EEDP).
Dr. Umeh brings to Mesa Energy a rare blend of technical depth, strategic foresight, and a proven track record in executing high-impact energy projects. Outside of his professional pursuits, he is a philanthropist, mentor, aspiring falconer, and student pilot.

Born in Nigeria and raised in Saint Martin and New York, Ogechi brings a distinct international perspective that informs her approach to cross-border collaboration. Her career includes coordinating high-stakes shareholder meetings at Computershare, producing industry conferences, and managing federal program support for the U.S. Department of Justice’s Public Safety Officers’ Benefits Program, where she deepened her commitment to service and stakeholder trust.
Fluent in English and French, Ogechi is known for her adaptability, diplomatic communication, and creative problem-solving—qualities that make her an asset in fast-moving environments where global alignment and local nuance are equally important. At Mesa Energy, she plays a key role in strengthening our partner ecosystem, ensuring supplier engagement is grounded in transparency, performance, and shared value.

He is the Founder and Chairman of YMR Group, an Angolan-owned engineering and services company operating at the intersection of oil and gas, education, and digital infrastructure. YMR Group provides specialized support to Angola’s energy sector through offshore filtration unit rentals, chemical pump services, filter distribution, and FPSO and marine equipment supply. The company also leads initiatives in workforce development and ICT innovation, in line with Angola’s broader economic and social development goals. Mr. Rosinho is also the Country Representative for the Consortium of the Soyo Refinery, a $5 billion, 150,000-barrel-per-day crude oil refinery and petrochemical project that stands as one of Angola’s most transformative energy infrastructure developments. His role in this landmark project highlights his strategic importance in shaping the future of Angola’s downstream oil and gas industry.
He is also the Co-Owner and Managing Director of PEX Angola, a growing energy services firm, and a former Account Manager at Baker Hughes, where he was instrumental in managing key client relationships and supporting critical oilfield operations. Mr. Rosinho holds an Engineering Degree from Leeds University in the UK. He is widely recognized for his commitment to advancing local content, fostering cross-border collaboration, and promoting sustainable industrial growth across Africa’s energy landscape. At Mesa Energy, Mr. Rosinho advises on international project development, bringing a rare combination of technical insight, business leadership, and policy-level engagement to support the company’s expansion into strategic oil and gas ventures.

Christian’s extensive field experience includes senior engineering, business development and operational roles with Halliburton Energy services, and Total Energies, as well as third-party consulting engagements for Total energies. At Halliburton Energy services, he designed, managed and led projects on well production optimization and enhancement in their well intervention operations within their completion and production division—one of the largest globally. At Total Energies, he managed and executed drilling and wells operation and execution across multiple sites, along with being in charge of operation safety and attaining the certification of OPITO MEMIR (Major emergency management, initial response) making him a person responsible for safety and environment in offshore operations, an equivalent of offshore installation manger (OIM) on projects, which is a key role in offshore drilling and wells operation.
As a Total energies -aligned consultant, Christian also strengthened his credentials in delivering high level engineering and operational oversight within global E&P frameworks. He holds a first degree in industrial physics, along with a master’s in business administration (MBA) at Edinburgh business school, Heriot watt university, United Kingdom and carries multiple certifications in drilling and well operations. Christian is known for his collaborative and effective leadership, commitment to timely and competent execution of projects, operational discipline, and deep understanding of proffering solutions to oil and gas project challenges. At Mesa Energy, he plays a key role in project management from start to finish.
